I had that issue where I was put in the special education classroom despite not having intellectual or cognitive disabilities and I would just think of it as an hour of independent study time where you just sit in a room. As long as you don't have any behaviors that make you a pain in the ass, then any special education teacher will leave you alone and up to your own devices.
I recommend bringing a book to read during that block of time, or crossword puzzles.
