The only time I've ever given a shit about the nuances of f*male anatomy is when I was doing a hard guro/vore RP where I needed to remember how to spell the parts of her reproductive system that my character was eating.
Controversial opinion: I would prefer to have my school shot up if it meant I got into Harvard with sub-par grades. With the number of people dying in that shooting in the teens, the chance that a very close friend gets injured is pretty small, and taking advantage of a story like that could potentially add a digit onto my starting salary. There’s no point in being jealous, but in my opinion, Hogg is overall lucky that the shooting happened at his school. Even if he retook his SAT in his gap year, the odds that he increased it 300+ points are pretty low, and a 4.2 isn’t terrible, but it isn’t Harvard material either. While his activism shows his character, it’s important to remember that the only reason he was able to become such an activist is because he got (arguably and pretty morbidly) lucky. If Harvard admits him, I don’t really care either way, as I’m not competing with him, but it was definitely a stroke of luck that got him in his position in the first place. It also wouldn’t surprise me if he decides to drop out after a semester or two if he can’t handle the load.
Edit: Wow the first time I'm at the top of the front page of something and it's r/jesuschristreddit. I'll be honest: I don't really mind that much, and I standby what I've said (which imo isn't even that controversial, just that the Stoneman Douglas shooting has had, albeit indirectly, a positive overall effect on David Hogg. The stuff below it might be more controversial, as that's clashing of world views, but the original argument is pretty clearly irrefutable regardless of your world view.)
Meh, I can't even disagree. I would literally be okay with that happening to me if I didn't die or get hurt and others did, and I benefited from it. Probably be happy about it afterwards even.
