I can see where he's coming from, but he's unable communicate it effectively.
I think it is a very a common idea on the right: that most people saying that all transwomen are really women do not really believe that deep down. And the same principle applied to many leftist identity politics ideas: e.g. women's brains are functional like identical to men's. But that it's a useful wedge or alliance of convenience to accomplish their own personal priorities.
OP in that thread is saying "No, we really are true believer s You might think they are ridiculous ideas but we genuinely believe them"
As a centrist who have observed both sides i have to agree that left is more morally superior than right no saying they are perfect but better than right.
