You're not even trying to be witty or anything, you're just circlejerking. How does it feel literally karma whoring, like, actually just being a human who cares enough to type multiple comments for no purpose except to draw a nearby majority's attention to the fact that you agree with them?
Like every for profit company ever? I get that their stuff is expensive, and it’s totally reasonable if that’s not worth it to everyone, but the market is already saturated with low cost devices. Apple supports their stuff longer, is more environmentally friendly, integrates more things, does a ton of r&d (A12 is insane) and is way easier to deal with on problem devices. Costs could be cut along with that stuff too.
Didn't Apple themselves released a statement that ipads bending out of the box are just normal? ... No. They revealed their straightness tolerance of 400 microns (tighter than previous models). Pictures of iPads bent 30 degrees are clearly outside of these boundaries and would be eligible for return or replacement.
Anyone who disagrees with the current hysteria about Apple must have a medical condition apparently
You are unwilling to talk about your position. It's how I know you are full of shit and you have nothing of value to say, despite replying to me twice so far. Looking forward to more emojis and nonsense in lieu of real responses.
Phones that last a long time are bad for your bottom line when your bottom line was inflated by phones needing to be replaced every two years. Innovation in phones has stalled. Leaders in the market begin to take away features so they can reintroduce them, one by one, year after year, to give the illusion of innovation.
Unironically what phone does r/drama recommend? I’ve gotten whatever iphone model is like 3 phones outdated whenever i need a new phone.
I will admit the UI is nicer than other companies from what i’ve seen. Aside from that iv never given a shit so i’m entirely uneducated on the subject.
I went from Pixel to iPhone XS a few months ago and prob prefer Android overall. That said, iMessage is way comfier than the messaging experience on Android
I got a Note 9 and it is the first phone that I've had that wasn't designed for the hands of a 5'-5'4" asian female. Never going back to a smaller phone again. The stylus is also awesome.
Iphones last longer than almost every android phone. If you aren't buying a new phone every year, Iphones are great. Apple is literally still releasing updates for Iphone 5S (6 year old phone) while pretty much all android phones stop getting updates after 2 years. A quick look at the resale value of used phones is enough proof of the longevity of Iphones compared to Androids.
Androidcels don't realise the cost/year of their devices. A $700 phone that lasts 2 years is worse than a $1000 phone that lasts 4 years and can still be sold for $200 afterwards.
the Galaxy s8 is probably one of the best phones i've ever owned but i'd reccomend getting the larger one if you have big hands, because the normal s8 is on the small side
great screen and ridiciulously durable with a light rubber case. it's survived some pretty severe falls and runs just as well as it does on day 1.
the only feature I don't like is Bixby because I've never had a need for it.
I'm using the s9+ and I highly recommend getting it or the note 9. Both excellent phones with great hardware and software, very little lag, a lot of room for customization, etc... you can look up reviews and comparisons on YouTube if you wanna learn more.

I unironically would have kept my note 7 if they would have let me take it on planes, so one of the newer in that line is probably good.

Everyone I know has been going with the pixel. However I use a S8 and it's fine but the bloatware like Bixby drives me nuts.
