Transgender people have a 40% suicide rate showing that gender dysphoria isn't cured with mutilation and hormone therapy (like homosexuality isn't cured by hormone therapy).
Allowing people who suffer from gender dysphoria to undergo gender reassignment surgery is the equivalent of treating scizophrenia by playing along with their illusions.
