Are you genuinely mentally challenged? Please use whatever little brain cells you have left after your glue huffing addiction to think a little bit before posting something as stupid as this again. Thanks and have a nice evening. src

I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

The yellow vests are the perfect revolution because everyone sees what they want in them. Truly radical centrist heroes.

I love how after the first day of protests liberals on Reddit were claiming it's all astroturfing by Putin, because they are pure reactionaries and assumed "protester over gas taxes" = "right wingers" so they must be Russian bots.

I’m still not sure how “reactionary” is the default dismissive label.

Like “Oh haha look at these people reacting to things affecting them, what idiots!” Isn’t that the most Bougie anti-worker kind of sentiment out there?

It's more that their reactions are based purely on a left/right team identity with no regard for reality, to the point where they now love war in the middle east.

Having the Russian boogie man to blame is better than a mirror.

Hillary is and was such a massive piece of shit that most people voted against her or stayed home. Pied Piper strategy, indeed.

Except Macron is actually a radical centrist which is why he is unironically right and the protesters are unironically wrong.

Both sides are right.

Both sides are wrong, actually.

You're right too.

It's hilarious. The left who want to smear the right call them right wing, the right that want to smear the left call them left wing, the right who want to embolden the right call them right wing, and the left who want to embolden the left call them left wing.

Look, a day apart

And the same fucking paper (independent) calling them right wing a few weeks later

American conservative calls them left

Leftist Deutch Welle calls them right wing

I don't think anyone knows what the hell is going on over there.

Fuck it, burn it all down

Someone ban plz

"/s" is even worse than "my dude"

YIKES to y'all.

Folks, let's unpack this. It's almost as if redactor isn't woke, y'all

No u 👉🏿👌🏻

Irrc the protest includes both the left and the right wing. Both are just people from opposite sides who have the found the opportunity to protest about the same thing.

Horseshoe theory proves correct again?

Centrism wins again.

The first Independent article is talking about the protestors in France though, while the second one is talking about protestors in the UK.

True. The fact that it's international now just adds to how impossible it is to define.

Hey man, deutsche Welle is not leftist. Their Refugee Crisis coverage has been borderline right-wing.

I don't think anyone knows what the hell is going on over there.

Its just another day in the high unemployment country known as France.

I don't think these commies realise that the yellow vests are not on their side

the yellow vests were calling hollande a fat slug in november. so it's pretty easy to pinpoint them politically

I'm not sure how having perfect vision is a political stance.

it is

Hollande, the guy with the 13% approval rating in office, literally the least popular French president ever.

20% surveyed voted for Melechon.

It's over for meloncels

Isn't that almost exactly the same proportion as voted for him in the election? Damn, this one real representative revolution-in-progress.

And 30 some percent for LePen, and 28 or so for Marcon.

So yeah, it's pretty close.

And 30 some percent for LePen, and 28 or so for Marcon.

In why Americans aren't protesting over the government shutdown:

We've also militarized our police too far against our own interests, we can't ever have standoffs against them as the Parisians constantly do. We protest at their convenience.

🤔

🇺🇸 = gi joe 🇬🇧 = harry potter 🇫🇷 = d’artagnan

🇺🇸 = -1 cultural point

🇬🇧 = 0 cultural point

🇫🇷 = ~+1~ 0 cultural point

Also probably because nobody noticed anything different.

Exactly. You see, in America we've got a militarized gendarmerie trained and equipped to suppress this kind of civil disorder but in France they have nothing like that.

The reason we're not protesting is that the French protesting is a national pastime while sitting on our ass doing nothing is our national pastime.

What I find really strange is that communists and the alt-right are both talking about yellow vests as being on their side.

Wrong. You should at least open wikipedia. This is the definition that communist propaganda was spouting during its regime, not anything that modern economy would use. There is no hiearchy in capitalism, anyone can earn money, and it's actually the state that makes it hard today, not capitalism itself (but I agree that under some circumstances capitalism could be the leading factor - not now though). Read about Keynesian economics and what harm it causes to the common people - through the state. State is also what creates hiearchy, not the economical system.

You know one of the worst things about Chapo? They’ve made us forget how profoundly stupid libertarians are.

on purpse Im writing comments which are along the lines of 'gee whizz! the French truckers are taking on Macron and his pro-vax pro-tax socialist cuck regime! no doubt he'll get his Antifa heavies in but dont worry French truckers, we got ya' back, we aint forgotten the help you gave us in 1776!"

cause that sort of shit pisses off everyone!

I love how after the first day of protests liberals on Reddit were claiming it's all astroturfing by Putin, because they are pure reactionaries and assumed "protester over gas taxes" = "right wingers" so they must be Russian bots.

Did I miss something? Isn't macron a socialist of some sort? How is he French daddy?
