He'll be fine if he monitors his caloric intake and doesnt consume a lot more than he burns

His sodium levels are going to be through the roof, which is pretty bad for the heart. Also there are some micronutrients he's going to be missing out on. Of course he's not putting his life in danger or anything but it's still a shitty thing to do to your body from a health perspective.

Sodium doesn't negatively impact you unless you already have a blood pressure problem. Not like the dude is eating Taco Bell for every meal.
