I'm not even sure what your point is. Yeah I'd rather sleep with a dakimakura of my waifu Renge-chan than with some random 3D slut but that doesn't mean I'm desperate, it's the opposite, it implies that I have standards.
Makes winning internet arguments easier because then the other guy has to respond with an essay in APA format featuring tables, figures, and at least three primary sources.
Classically, it was the right that couldn't meme because they were just a bunch of tech illiterate boomers. However when 4chan switched to the right, they eclipsed the left in meme potential.
When Steve Bannon invented memes, he planned a slow rollout. Keeping them apolitical so everyone would embrace the concept. After memes were embedded in internet culture he was able to move on to step 2 of operation gamer gate.
Neither can the far right. The left is far too soft to make any jokes that have any bite to them, that's why you get shit like CTH calling people chuds. And the far-right is too divorced from anything but their shit to be funny. Look at CringeAnarchy now. Once it got quarantined it turned into a shithole of grandpa tier memes and 'muh crime stats'
You know how humans can’t hear irl dog whistles because they’re too high pitched? Leftists believe that the right-wingers secretly communicate with each other using subliminal messaging that other people don’t pick up on. There’s truth to this in some circumstances, but most of the time it’s a tactic they use to say, “(opponent) said X, but they actually meant Y.”
100% the only people who use the word "Latinx" (literally sounds like a shitty off-brand shampoo) are all monolingual whites.
At the absolute most they have a Spanish second name, took Spanish in high school for the language credit and call themselves "brown" despite being 90% ethnic European to compensate for the fact the melting pot chewed them up and spat them out.
Yes, but I was also referring to the people getting bussyblasted over retards saying 'latinx' because it's not pronounceable in their extremely shit language
I like words like "Latinx" and "People of Colour" because it allows me to quickly identify the people deserving of the gas chambers when the revolution finally comes
But it’s also used interchangeably for “non white” “black” and “brown and black” making it pointless except for identifying annoying people. Also, the phrase “people of colour” grates on my ears.
I hate this. I don't think it should take you three worlds to say the same thing as "colored." Just call me with that one word and stop wasting my time, geez.
wow a monolingual american trying to tell other cultures how to act, I'm fucking shocked. do they realise how absolutely moronic it is to try and add a gender-neutral term into a romance language?
No, it's far more sinister than that. Basically in Spanish(and Italian too, I'm guessing most or all romance languages), every noun and pronoun is male or female. This is deeply unacceptable for the genderless attention seekers(in America), and more importantly, the allies of said attention seekers which are a lot more. Also, if there is a group that includes both males or females, you always use the male gender word, as if males are superior and proof of the patriarchy. This is double offensive to "woke" people. So these people who don't even speak Spanish have taken it upon themselves to "correct" the language for the hundreds of millions of us in the world who actually speak the language, because they're white and "woke" and know best.
Oh boy, a white person taking a break from seasoning their chicken with water to impose their batshit social worldview on an entire language for hundreds of millions of people, how surprising. BRB, starting a campaign to correct Koreans on how offensive their own language is, when it conjugates based on how much older or younger the person you're talking to is, because it discriminates against people who identify as younger people, or age-neutral people. I honestly would pay money for this guy to buy fentanyl and kill himself with it, and I'm not joking.
I don't know the status of the german b that sounds like an s, but while it's still very much a part of the language, it's fallen in desuse for all but the most formal contexts.

I always write my 3 word reddit comments with inclusivity in mind, and then I write an essay explaining that inclusivity

How can I even take your argument seriously if you don’t include 12 point font? Go back to The_Retard.”

Sir! Sir, did you notice how inclusive I am? Sir. I need you to verify for me that you did indeed notice my woke take.

Remember when memes were funny videos and websites and not just another front in the kulturkampf? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I'd say it was less about tech (since rotating skull gifs on GeoCities aren't really knee slappers) and more about being perpetually outraged.
The best targets for comedy are angry people who can't take a joke, and in the 90s it was all christian moms against videogames, gays, and rock music.
"Nazis" are the new "Satan" so the pendulum swings.

The more explicit your imagery the more dog whistle you are.
Picasso’s Guernica is a dog whistle for the horrors of war. The stars on the American flag are a dog whistle for the 50 states.
1 pugba 2019-01-14
I genuinely have no clue what doge whistle means other than.. well.. a whistle for dogs?
1 notcyberpope 2019-01-14
Symbolism for being a nazi.

Weirs to call them whistle blowers though

What about "nig"?

not sure what that means

It's been used (and mocked, deservedly so) in Spain for years.

That opening question mark (¿) is the most tryhard shit ever.
1 grep_var_log 2019-01-14
You might as well just prefix it with 'I learned Spanish from Rosetta Stone'.
1 NotAFinnishLawyer 2019-01-14
So that's no longer a thing in Spanish? Something like the German ß?
1 NormanImmanuel 2019-01-14

1 NotAFinnishLawyer 2019-01-14
It's a symbol for basically double s, and the grammar got reformed in the 90s to limit its use.
1 EasySchmitty 2019-01-14
You’d think krauts wouldn’t want anything to do with SS.
1 Dingus_Kahn 2019-01-14
It is, just people who actually speak spanish over the internet don’t use it because it is a pain in the ass to type for no actual gain
1 BonoboZilla 2019-01-14
Yep, you don’t see that shit when natives actually text each other or post online 😂😂
1 Seattle_Bussy_Lmao 2019-01-14

1 Wraith_GraveSpell 2019-01-14
From now on ill make sure to be as gender inclusive as possible and just refer to them as spics.
