SRD used to be kind of like a more serious version /r/Drama. The sub started to get taken over by SJWs/circlebroke/SRS around 5-6 years ago.

Subredditdrama posts is basically just the reddit submission equivialent of a really bad loaded to back up their ideological inclinations. Literally anything that might make their side look remotely bad won't make it unless they think they can't cope somehow. If you want a good example, compare the number of posts their that originate from /r/christianity and /r/islam. They are both good lolcow subreddits but only one seems to make it there.
