Well I mean If you ignore them you give them no power. They didn’t create and therefore do not decide the lore (as cringy as it is saying it).
I can also see it annoying people because they pretty much took the meme, and changed it until it’s something completely different. Using a meme to horribly push political agenda is never popular, and the subreddit should have a rule against it. At the moment it’s who can gang up the best to up/downvote. But in the end it’s just the best to let it die and not recognize it.
