[LIVE] Cycling drama over a professional cyclist being kicked out because of """sexual assault""" #metoo
1 2019-01-30 by 73696D756C6174696F6E
At the center of the story is this picture of a few days ago where Iljo Keisse (left) does a sexual pose for a photograph. The woman files a complaint with the police and a judge gave him a fine of 70 euro, and he publicly apologized.
The organization thought it was far from enough, and after failing to push his team to kick him out, they themselves kicked him out of the competition. The shavedlegged boys at /r/peloton duke it out and are overall glad this sexual abuser got caught and tar and feathered, and debate whether the term "sexual assault" applies in this case. /r/Belgium on the other hand (where Iljo Keisse is from) is not convinced and debates whether we live in times of retardation.
In the meanwhile his team manager is furious and is now questioning whether his whole team should walk out.

I am not sure which is more cringey, the litany of erroneous assumptions you splayed out or the act of calling upon the student archetype with the intent of derision. Anti-intellectualism, check. src

Not exactly surprised Brian Holm is angry over this. He was also furious after some races removed podium ladies. Dude knows where gussy belongs in the cycling hierarchy.

They should, Cycling is run by complete faggots these days. In a couple of years podium ladies will be remoed for "objectifying women".
At least one of quickstep's managers is pretty based about the issue. He says Norway (which has been pushing all this equality nonsense) is like a saudi arabian oil state in regards to women.

Dude grid girls were removed from formula 1 too. Not that I miss them but slowly and surely this is gonna happen in every sport

Same with darts. And with darts it was like 80% of the reason people watched in the first place.

sucks, since it’s ugly, fat feminists who are pushing for this.
1 The_White_Light 2019-01-30
They're just jealous nobody wants them to be grid girls.
1 pinkunicorn_yo 2019-01-30
I don't either, but the girls for sure miss their jobs.

Got a friend who manages a drift car team and heavily involved in the scene. Let's just say all the grid girls are fucking furious and this has negatively impacted some of them quite a bit. It paid pretty well and also led to other modeling gigs too
1 tHeSiD 2019-01-30
Yep, most of them were aspiring models and these were the sort of gigs they could display on their resume etc
1 DrZerglingMD 2019-01-30
Even for the ones who didn't want to be a model it was super easy cash for like 2 days work

He didn't at the end. It's fun to take a stance that you feel is righteous, but in the end there are sponsors, income and the season you have to worry about. Flying back from Argentina to Belgium after just three stages would kinda mess up their start of the season.

It causes minimal pollution and takes up a lot less space, so its good for benelux, london etc

He should just file a claim against her for posing in front of him.

Well, considering it was a stupid pic to take, it's the current year and it's Spain, the organization did the only PR thing they could.
To add, dude himself is a fucking idiot to take this pic. This isn't a frat party, this is a public space, random people, he is a professional athlete and again - it's Spain. His teammates must heavily dislike him though as they should have warned him not to do this.
1 73696D756C6174696F6E 2019-01-30
You made an account for this? Also it's Argentina, not Spain.
1 Tonguetiedcharlatan 2019-01-30
Yes, and my mistake. But same shit works with Argentina. He's still an idiot and he was kicked out to keep negative press out.
1 CadicalRentrist 2019-01-30
Don’t cry for me Argentina!

Shaving your legs, wearing a skin tight outfit with shorts, wearing ridiculously fashionable sunglasses, sponsored by Lidl, and STILL being prosecuted because of sexual assault against a FEMALE of all things. It's definitely over for cyclecels.
1 Awesometom100 2019-01-30
When did it ever begin for them???

1 awayhow 2019-01-30
With how thin lycra is, it's basically rape. Dude is going to lose his bicycle license.
1 Diedjies 2019-01-30
At least they respect womynTM in male cycling. In woman cycling they get rekt by bussy lmao.
1 Manchu_Fist 2019-01-30
Yes. Cant believes everyone just forgot about that shit.
1 MikeStoklasaAlcohol 2019-01-30
Day of the hit and run when? Why dont two-wheel fags use the sidewalk instead of hogging up the road and slowing down traffic?
1 cragfar 2019-01-30

1 Baconlightning 2019-01-30

1 LSU_Coonass 2019-01-30
how is that a 70 euro fine? wtf europe?
1 Burnnoticelover 2019-01-30
Imagine slamming your balls on a bike seat for years and still having it in you to be attracted to something.
1 Manchu_Fist 2019-01-30
If your seat and bike are fitted properly you shouldn't have issues.
I can ride 100 miles and fuck like a bunny afterwards with no issues.
