Labor is induced and then the baby is made comfortable until it dies. Tragic all around but babies like this would never be healthy enough or live long enough to be adopted.

Sometimes the choice has to be made to give them palliative care if their problems are not conducive to life. It's cruel to needlessly prolong the pain and suffering of an infant who will die after a few days or weeks. This isn't infanticide just for the hell of it, it's an end of life decision that's made for adults on a regular basis.
