I did a research paper this summer on this subreddit and there was a published study that found that 74% of attacks on Reddit came from 1% of source subreddits. I assume that subs like r/Drama are the 1%.
Not for nothing, Ed, but heating your home with solar is actually a stupid idea, since solar generates a fraction of the energy needed to fill a home with heat. Solar panels on homes are pretty much expensive virtue signaling.
solar water heating is great though. my parents house has solar panels and they only use gas to heat their hot water (for heating as well) in the depths of winter. this is in gloomy england too.
the photovoltaic cells are less of a slam dunk, you have to store the energy in batteries and shit
Not if they're at a good angle and properly coated. You can generally knock it off pretty easily. Light snowfalls don't even materially reduce the reception of energy.
The thing that makes him especially wrong is that he's saying it doesn't work in cold weather. He's posting weather reports that show plenty of sun and no recent snow.
Leftoids sperging out over their shitty energy source that can’t even generate enough energy for basic necessities vs rightoids causing the sperg out with boomer science, and people say centrists are retarded 🙄🙄🙄

natural gas for heat; solar is for lights and stuff except at nights when you need the grid unless you have a battery

We all know that solar panels don't work when it's cold just like my penor

Wait.. But he isn't wrong. Won't the panels get covered with snow?

Napkin math, but in his Chicago example raising the temp in a 900sqft home to 64°F requires ~20 KW.
