The more known you are the easier it is to make money. That's why all twitter retards that get their "15 minutes of fame" immediately put up their paypal lol.
And much like Instagram thots, GB is keeping the platform more alive by introducing "new" content by reposting stuff from other platforms. This is what Spez means by "getting the milk". He doesn't have to pay GB for him to make his website a "better" place, because other people are already paying him, and so he is already incentivized to keep posting on Reddit without Spez having to do anything.
This is partially why GB and Reddit admins are so eager to protect GB's reputation. If you go through GB's history you'll find that he is constantly trying to make a strawman out of his critics. "They don't have evidence", "They hate me for my karma", "If you're big enough you always attract rude people" etc etc are common talking points of his, and these aren't exclusive to the latest drama we had. He posts comments like these all the time to discredit anyone who doesn't like him.
This is probably also why he made that "#metoo was a witch-hunt" comment. He's trying to discredit the fact that he sent nudes to an alleged minor. He has already denied these claims (though I don't have links to those statements) despite there being authentic evidence (namely his nudes).
And if you criticize him too much, you will get banned. If you use your /r/drama mod privilege to point out he's been sending nudes, you will get demodded by the admins. If GB's reputation gets too low, he won't be able to shill. And then he might stop posting on Reddit altogether. And admins don't want that, so they have to protect him.
A very high percentage of GB's posts make it to the frontpage of whatever sub he posted in (and usually /r/all). Some guy on Youtube (again, no link. I saw it on /r/videos while ago) demonstrated that the upvotes you get immediately after making your post affect the success rate of your post greatly. So if you use 10~ upvote bots to immediately upvote your shit, your posts have a very high chance of reaching frontpage.
It's pretty obvious GB is using bots, because admins have no choice but let it happen if they want to keep drinking GB's brown milk.

Swallowpoops was banned for a few days but it didn't last long and he returned to his boomer tier, low energy shitposting ways.
