What do you mean? It's an established fact that humans never misremember things or subconciously change their memories to align with what other people told them. What explanation could there be for this other than temporal beings screwing with us?
Oh well now I’m disappointed in myself for being too retarded to read their rules. So you’re saying it’s not a treasure trove of literally insane people then?
Well, I don't know about that, but if you report every small suspicion you think of, and silence all sounds of reason, even sane people will sound insane. I think the original goal of that sub is to be amazed on how the human mind twists things if let completely alone, but I have no idea how many of those are actually serious.
However, since the discussion in that sub has tended to lean towards the "skeptic" point of view, several people got disillusioned with the tone, rhetoric and constant need to be told that it was all confabulation, bad memory, bad education, that experiencers were full of themselves, had over-inflated egos because they couldn't accept that could be wrong, that the whole thing was absurd, etc, etc..
These people banded together and formed a private sub called RetconEffect. After a while, it was decided to create a public arm of the sub and we called it Retconned.
That’s an understatement, you can talk all about how we all died in 2012 or how someone “shifted” in dimensions because they feel different today. But as soon as you say you’ve known about a “mandanimal” (Mandela animal) since you were a child, it’s some kind of breach of etiquette because you aren’t respecting the poster’s reality shifts...

True, the only explanation possible is that multiple universes mix together

This is the first time I’m seeing this sub, so thanks for posting this!
I’m in for a treat cause it seems like pretty much every post on that subreddit is fuckin nuts

That's like the point of that sub existing. The rules even say that you pretty much have to play along.

No, r/retconned was made because r/mandela_effect was too "logical."

You’re the best, this is such a fucking specific brand of crazy, I’m kinda surprised there’s so many subs on it
Thanks a ton!

Watch out, the mods are ready to ban you if you try to question the “phenomenon” or if you “have a bad tone.”
1 rentalong 2019-02-06
Lol “bad tone”, sounds like the mods there are gayer than usual

Yeah I noticed the animal thing, that’s one of the most retarded things I’ve ever seen
“Here’s a weird looking animal”.
“Oh I haven’t seen it before, and it’s weird looking. Must mean that our reality exploded”
1 TheMidnightRiderBaby 2019-02-06
It’s basically a TIL sub for mentally ill people

a lot should be spelled alot
1 zorasayshey 2019-02-06
hey there Mandela-affected...
A lot is the correct spelling [in this “timeline”].
Alot is the Mandela Effect memory.
Do you remember everytime? Or ofcourse? dilemna? Haas avocado? Smokey the Bear? Depends (adult diapers)? Bevis and Butthead?
Those have all “changed” (those spellings don’t exist).
Did you ever play Rainbow Road on N64? Do you remember it being a difficult map?
Here’s some more
We don’t know the why, but there are millions that share the same memories as you.

Whenever I find out I have been misspelling a word, that's how I know for sure I have slipped into an alternate reality. Occams razor.
