Because /r/DogHate wants to be outraged about dogs so anything that could even remotely justify their hatred of dogs will be put on display. I once said I didn't trust anyone who hated dogs without a valid reason and was flooded by a dogfree brigade letting me know that the animal being ugly and smelly was enough of a reason to kill them.
Getting attacked by a dog was awesome because it gave me an excuse to admit dogs are garbage and people who love them more than humans are subhuman species traitors
