Read The vampire economy Book by Günter Reimann. Mises institute had a few lectures in that area. A really good documentary called the Soviet Story. Germans were very much socialist just a different brand.

I mean, he's right lmao. National socialism is socialism based not on economic imbalance but racial. It's socialism in the lense of racial superiority, not financial. It's the literal definition. It's not the colloquial version of socialism but it's a knockoff form.
The problem is that marxism is progressive and nazism is conservative. So you can find a way to twist it into being a "type" of socialism, but at the end of the day, it exists as a force of anti-marxism.
Just because they call themselves socialists doesn't mean they are socialists. You know, like how democratic socialism totally isn't actually just socialism.
