Yeah, but Jesus didn't commit any crimes even remotely close to being capital offenses in today's America, so if anything he's admitting that we don't execute people for enough crimes.
Also, someone tell that lady that it's capital with an "a" for capital punishment. Capitol with an "o" is only used for the building a government is based out of. Not the city, mind you, the city is spelled with an "a". It makes no sense, I know, but that is just how English works.
