His line of reasoning was pretty dumb but he's right - pet worshipping is disgusting.
However, dog rescue organization are guilty of perpetuating the crime against animals by essentially saying, yeah, go ahead, get a pet, beat it it, starve it, abuse it or whatever, we'll pick up the pieces and find someone else equally capable of taking care of animals.
No sane person has a lifestyle that can accommodate even 10% of animal needs. That's why animals end up mostly with mentally unstable people which then leads to abuse.
If you live in an apartment and work 10 hours a day don’t get a fucking husky or Weimaraner. Retards do that anyways, but that’s not the majority of dog owners.
