If you support free speech, you must support people pinging other users. It's completely legal speech. If you won't defend pinging as free speech because you or someone else finds it disgusting, then no speech that you or anyone else views as disgusting is safe.

Here’s where it gets juicier. The guy has an LLC designed to give strategic consulting to candidates who can’t really afford it. She used it. Not bad so far right? Nothing really illegal with that.
Here’s where it gets good. That firm hired her then boyfriend (we don’t even know his status, he could well be her spouse!) as a marketing consultant. Why? He has a shit background and honestly doesn’t have enough experience to be a consultant for campaigns. If he wanted a decent one he could have hired one who have actually worked on campaigns before.
Oh wait! The rich guy wrote checks to her boyfriend which were meant to be given to her to keep her in the race!
He bought his place on her staff with in-kind contributions through paying her boyfriend as a consultant!
There’s even more suspicious shit going on too with those three and they’re probably going to be investigated. The CoS and boyfriend might actually go to jail because it’s pretty illegal what they did.
On top of his new job with her staff which is also against the rules since he’s supposed to just be given a pass for partners and a pin to indicate him as such and that’s all that’s allowed for him.
I think it’s very important to admit when you’re wrong, and this is one of those times. I said she wouldn’t fit in with the establishment politicians, and I was wrong. She’s fitting in just fine.
So in other words commie mommy runs from the "Outside" in order to get elected all the while pedaling potential influence in exchange for campaign contributions unlike the way any other inside the beltway politician has ever done it before.
