I don't expect this to get traction, but once upon a time a certain redditor came to certain subreddit for high-karma redditors saying, "Halp, I'm am doxxed by der doxxers!"

Well-meaning people in the subreddit wanted to help. The doxxed party linked these well-meaning redditors to a subreddit for drug users and some people who apparently want to kick drugs. The well-meaning redditors were sent down a rabbit-hole where they discovered via screenshots and other evidence that the "doxxed" user actually had a history of doxxing other people. And getting banned from places. And coming back and doxxing again. And getting banned again... and ... encouraging others trying to quit to USE drugs and getting banned... and other very unsavory things.

These well-meaning users said that the user should not DOXX people if they don't want to be doxxed and suggested that the banned user not come right back saying the exact same things and posting the same exact personal info as the user banned for DOXXING had done.

Then said user DELETES their post entirely from the subreddit of high-karma users after accusing them of not being supportive.

THEN the user keeps up the charade. Everywhere on reddit. And the user TARGETS the people that she had come to on the high karma subreddit. She accuses those users of being in favor of doxxing. And not supporting a poor oppressed person.

One of the users who had no idea who she was before she ever posted in the high-karma subreddit... and who was concerned, at first, for her plight finds out that she's on a discord complaining that said user is in favor of doxxing. Said user was never in favor of doxxing. Said user just went to the subreddit the user directed her to and found out horrifying and concerning things about the user. Said user never said, "You are a hideous human who deserves everything coming to her." Said user only said, "Don't doxx other people. It makes them mad. And if you keep posting after being banned in the same way you did..... people are still going to be mad at you because you only changed your username."

So said user finds out that the person is lying about them on a discord. The user goes to that discord to defend herself against the lies.

And you just modded the person who banned said user from that discord for defending herself against the lies. And apparently the new mod ended up being targeted by the person he defended on his discord when he was SO PROUD to ban ... other said person... from his discord because she defended herself against the lies.
