I’ve been saying this for a while. By saving superhero movies, Christopher Nolan has ruined movies in general.

I haven’t seen a movie in theaters in years, and it’s because two out of the five are always capeshit. Not only does it take up space normally reserved for better movies, but it also ruins the atmosphere of you local theater, especially if one of the 30+ that come out every year is opening that weekend.

Like, why would I pay $12-$15 to go to a place I don’t want to be, full of people I don’t like, to see a movie I may or may not enjoy that other people are going to talk through anyway? Fuck that.
