It shouldn't really matter what the gender or racial identity of a reviewer is when reviewing a movie unless the movie is incredibly culturally specific. A white male critic can appreciate movies like Black Swan and City of God as much as a black female critic can fairly review The Dark Knight and The Godfather.

Assuming you're serious, yeah black people know enough about ballet and Italians and the mafia to appreciate Black Swan and The Godfather. The movies also do a good job explaining the constraints of the world the protagonists find themselves in and deal with larger themes of self-harm, perfectionism, the duty to family vs duty to oneself, etc. Those are common human themes.
