I totally realize most people are going to disagree with me here but I feel compelled to say that closing the sub for a joke wasn't a very kind thing to do. We have seen TONS of posts from vulnerable populations talking about how this sub is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.
You can say I'm being silly, or humorless or reactionary. Whatever. I love the show and I love this community. But sometimes I come home after dealing with ableism and our nightmare reality all day, and this sub is one of many things that make me feel better. It wasn't a good feeling to find this sub closed for the sake of irony. Maybe that's laughable or pathetic. But for me, it's true.
How much you wanna bet those are some angsty Jewish kids who are just mad at their parents for making them sing songs like this with the family during Hanukkah and forbidding them from playing vidya?
Anti-Jewish sentiment amongst Jews is indeed a thing, there are even Jewish Nazi skinheads in Israel (as in, actual Nazi skinheads with anti-Jewish rhetorics, not Jewish supremacists). In my experience this kind of thing is mostly found amongst ex-Soviet Jews (in Israel or elsewhere) and is kinda expectable, as identitarian schizophrenia and rampant inferiority complex is pervasive in ex-USSR; but said experience of mine might be skewed, since I'm from Eastern Europe myself and communicate with Russian speakers a lot.
Somewhat like how many assthiests are still stuck in "angry little child who hates his mommy for making him go to Sunday School" mode 20 years after the fact. Interesting point you make.
That was in reference to a couple of antifaST comics putting things like we were destroying ourselves because of that one mod feud. Probably worded horribly but eh, so be it.
Suprisingly enough, leftists had absolutely nothing to do with it. It was just the owner who wants to get the subreddit banned and me who doesn't want the subreddit to get banned.

More of the mods fighting inside a “new rule thread” to “save” the subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/StoneToss/comments/aw9oqr/comment/ehlokdg

No doubt some of them are, it's a common phenomenon.

What's even crazy is the "rivalry" between /r/StoneToss and /r/antifastonetoss
1 Stacyscrazy21 2019-03-03
I think it’s just ideological. I want to see who the new one sides with

They removed one mod, IDK how that's collapsing. FFS the incels sub is still going strong after the head mod herself left. Now THAT was drama.

First of all, to the capitalist pigs eagerly spectating this Soviet Union, no we are not imploding/collapsing on ourselves.

This is way more entertaining than just seeing the sub get banned a la MDE style.
1 AnnoysTheGoys 2019-03-03
This is what happens when you let mdefugees in
