Okay, so first of all, you've just made a reply to me that is in two unrelated parts. The first is unrelated to anything I said. As long as you comport yourself in this manner, you will only be met with derision. It is a nonsense method of communication.
It's actually the story of a boy becoming a man then going his own way in a world full of feminists. In the end he defeats evil, fakes his death and marries 3 brawds...basically an incels wet dream minus the mass shooting
Wot is one of the few things I geek out over but I can't take the trickle of info leaked by the head writer and the speculation that goes along with it. It's too far off for me to be writing it off/cementing its classic stature because of the conclusions being drawn but I can't help it
I really enjoyed the first few books as a kid but I started to find the structure of each very formulaic after a few books so I never read past book four or so
Theres a definite slog in the middle but all the set up was worth it because the last few books deliver like no other fictional series has, for me at least. I'm sure it didn't hurt That Sanderson actually put together the last 3. I'd even reccomend reading a concise summary of books 5-8/9 then restarting it there
Maybe I will some time, there was a lot I really liked about the series I just got tired of the Rand/Dark Lord magic umbilical chord fight at the end of each book
characters leave from a now-allied place, go on a great journey, and arrive at an unaligned, tumultuous destination. They win the people there to their side, Rand has a showdown with the Dark Lord, rinse and repeat
Oh boy, Most of that was to flesh out the world but it was also to show how inexperienced and in over his head Rand was. Sooner or later he's back in all of those cities to fix them again so you'd probably want to skim those parts. The scene where Rand creates giant spinning portles of death is worth all the boring politics though.

I’ll just be happy as long as GRRM releases the last books before keeling over

oh they'd just get Gerry Ganderson to write it for him.

.. by definition, they'll be the last books.
His longevity is only one of the risks to the completion of the series.
Here is my post which is 95% shorter and hence 95% more productive than most others on the topic.

After A Storm of Swords, the plot just got away from him, he wrote himself into a corner and he can't get out.

At this point the HBO version will go down as the real one. Sucks that he sold out but he should have written faster.

He can keep them to himself for what I care. There is no longer any interest for the books in me.

GoT is over, all that matters is that WoT has a show being made on amazon

I'm not interested in watching any more

The story opens with the incel doing a magical mass shooting in a past life.
In the then-modern times, mass magical shootings are caused by men's magic being tainted by them appropriating power from the One of Color.

Will they keep the extremely subtle and unnoticeable sexual undertones for Saidar and Saidan?
