Yang: Gamer Hero or Fascist?
First, as a Canadian, I am more familiar with my own nation's political landscape than that in America. This subreddit was my first exposure to Yang, and his proposals intrigued me.
As I learned more about it, his idea to give away one-thousand dollars to every individual reminded me of a similar candidate in the last leadership election for the New Democratic Party, Guy Caron, who had proposed something similar. I thought: what better way to unravel the bourgeois lie that each person has a duty to 'earn their keep'?
I decided, to delve beyond the surface. Policies like this are often too good to be true. And what I found was not only a man who has a deep sympathy for fascism, but one who has fooled the internet into thinking that he is a force for positive change.
The Yang Platform
Perpetuate the system of global apartheid and the miserable existence of many in the third-world by limiting immigrants to 'high-skill individuals'
"Decrease the number of people entering this country illegally" (1)
"Find a solution [to the millions of undocumented immigrants] that reflects the fact that they entered the country illegally" (2)
"Attract more high-skill individuals to America" (3)
Support and strengthen the imperialist United States military
"Invest in the treatment of veterans, and ensure that soldiers are treated with care and respect upon returning home by a system that recognizes them as assets and contributors."
"Appoint a new Secretary of Cybersecurity to lead our efforts to secure our country’s vital systems from cyberterrorism, which is one of the leading threats to our ongoing prosperity." (4)
Take guns out of the hands of the proletariat and concentrate them in the hands of the bourgeois state
Promote a stringent, tiered licensing system for gun ownership
Implement a federal buyback program for anyone who wants to voluntarily give up their firearm. (5)
In conclusion, we should probably reconsider our support for Yang. His policies would bring America even closer to corporate totalitarianism.

This only proves that I'm not MDEfugee, downie, autist, or any other labels you cucks try to put on me. I'm my own party, army and a movement. I'm an independent, thinking, rational person unlike you dumb sheep.

I like to think that everyone shitty on the Left is just a troll account created and maintained by Barron Trump, attempting to use his mammoth brain to make centrists vote Daddy 2020. Because if these people actually exist, and have these strange opinions that so many people supposedly might have, then I'll have to actually vote for Daddy, given he's the option most likely to put these fucking people in camps.
But I'm wise to you, Barron: you'll never actually make me vote.

what's the difference?

I should have known that I wouldn't get serious discussion on this subreddit. If you really are asking that question seriously, then the answer is this: fascism chains us all; the curtailing of our rights and liberties as individuals represents a grave threat, even to gamers.

if you aren't going to be clever with your shtick you could at least try to be funny

To hell with Yang. I'm thinking Shultz might be the closest thing to John Galt we're ever gonna find.

Nothing wrong with any of that besides his stance on gun control. I don’t want to import random shitskins, and there’s nothing wrong with helping out vets or working on our cybersecurity a bit. Doubt he’ll be able make any meaningful legislative changes regarding gun control anyway.

Yeah what sort of fascist would try to attract highly skilled immigrants. what a fascist.

an optional buyback program sounds awful fascist too why give people an option? what a fascist.

oh my god and worst of all he wants to invest money into helping the people who fought in wars for our country overseas!!!!!! what a fascist.

if you actually think any of those things are inherently fascist you must be 8 years old.
