Yeah nah, Sultans of Swing is objectively better music than this. Especially in the guitar work, which is kinda the point in both cases. Dire Straits could play like this while all in different rooms and each trying to use the toilet, and they're not exactly the world's best band.
They are magic with their fingers. They beat that skin beautifully. They can send you to heaven with their tounges. Hey, get your mind out of the gutter. I just said that they're good with the guitar, drums and singing.
There are people out there who have been chillin in a room while these artists fucked around with this song on acoustic instruments the night before a show or something and I envy those people greatly
It's weird, all the music I like is electronic and I hate festivals. So I don't attach any significance to something like drum and bass being played live, I'm usually just really happy I have something to drown out the noise of an open-plan office while I'm writing code.
I probably missed some crucial cultural event with electronic music, though, like how gen-xers wax lyrical about illegal raves from the 90s. When I took ecstasy all it did was make me chain smoke and feel an emotional connection to people that I would eventually wish I had never met.
