/r/piracy is likely going to be the next subreddit banned despite not being a source for any pirated content.

I like to think that everyone shitty on the Left is just a troll account created and maintained by Barron Trump, attempting to use his mammoth brain to make centrists vote Daddy 2020. Because if these people actually exist, and have these strange opinions that so many people supposedly might have, then I'll have to actually vote for Daddy, given he's the option most likely to put these fucking people in camps.

But I'm wise to you, Barron: you'll never actually make me vote.

A subreddit dedicated Piracy is retarded but

/>reddit is becoming Facebook

Is the correct take.

Its a common news topic, so it makes sense to have a sub directly related to the industry of anti-piracy (and piracy related news as many users are also file sharing)

Reddit was originally created by a hacktivist with a technical inclination and a want to embrace more open knowledge sharing

Didn't he commit suicide or something?

Yeah, but what's more interesting is when /u/spez says Aaron had little to do with Reddit. And only after he died.

The dude had his name stamped all over the place in the old code.

Your Pulitzer is in the mail.

Yes. He was targeted as an example. They charged him with a felony for downloading some publicly available papers from a university. The guy spent his whole life planning to run for office, however. That was his dream. You cannot do that if you have a felony. There were also some other rumours about other bullying tactics circulating afterwards. The belief is that they ruined his life, his dreams, and potentially threatened him with even more things secretly, so he committed suicide while imprisoned.

If reddit turns into facebook, will 4chan turn into reddit 🤔

will

Um whats 4chan, we're all 4channelers here

bring back snacks

They didn't follow the code.

It’s more of a guideline really

Thanks for the censorship, based China!

believing the reddit is owned by china meme thinking CHINA gives a fuck about piracy

Normally I enjoy your edgy against the grain posts but this is a brain dead take

... Admins can remove content at their own discretion and leave behind no notice or log for moderators. We cannot take any precautionary or preventative measures if we do not know what was removed.

Wow, this sounds crazy. It's actually big news. They will get shut down for something they don't even know about. I wonder if the admins may have confused DMs with comments here?

good

too much stuff was getting consolidated on reddit and old forums are almost dead

maybe this will take us back to old internet in some parts.
