So this was my former high school. It required top scores in a math and writing exam to get in and they only accept ~900 every year. And every damn year, the number of black people that get in is always below twenty (in a city that is ~25% black) and NYT posts an article about it. This year it's a whopping nine black kids. Needless to say, people are upset.
Just search "Stuyvesant High School" on twitter and you will see an endless feed of people complaining about racism, meritocracy and white privilege. Clearly those DAMN white set up the system so that only they can benefit from it while setting up a racist exam that excludes blax right.
Only problem is... the school isn't even white. Not even fucking close. A whopping 22% of the school is white and 70% are asian (50/50 between brown asians and east asians).
But it gets better! Not only is the school full of asians, MOST OF THEM ARE BROKE.
Literally half the school came from poor immigrant families with parents that worked full time and didn't speak english. And they managed to get in. On an exam where half of it was english skills.

My friends went to an elite NYC private school and one of them is black. Basically, this is a very liberal/progressive school.
Recently the black students have started sperging the fuck out and claiming racism, protesting, all kinds of stupid shit.
My friends say every claim they're making is complete bullshit and fabricated.

To be honest I don't know how to communicate with the (large!) portion of the population that are IQ skeptics and/or denialists in race related differences in IQ means (arithmetic means).
For about two generations the States has tried to make black or hispanic test scores equal to white scores equal to asian scores. You can insert outcome related stuff there in place of the word scores: lifetime earnings, criminality, educational attainment, and so on. That's because IQ is a generally predictive trait for all sorts of things; it causes positive things and correlates with more good things.
We (United States-cels) would be much better off looking to e.g. raise all students' test scores (not IQ, different matter) half a standard deviation than to wish on the poor children another sixty years of Impossible Things Believed Before Breakfast.
