The difference between being efficient and being productive

Amazon:

Market cap is $894 billion

Employees are 647,500 headcount

Apple:

Market cap is $920 billion

Employees are 132,000 headcount.

Amazon is an efficient company. For every $1 invested in Amazon, they squeeze the efficiency out of that dollar to produce $4 in value. This means large scale, low margins, rapid growth.

Apple is a productive company. For every $1 invested in Apple, they create out of that dollar to produce $4 in value. This means finding creative and quality efficient ways to make products which come to light.

In reality you want a balance of both, and Microsoft is starting to do this well, however I just wanted to share with you guys the difference between being efficient and being productive.

Yeah but Amazon make a variety of products with Americans while Apple simply has Chinese Children make their products and the chinks are far better workers

>Take a phone that costs you $20 to make.

>Sell it for $1000$

>Use $200 of that and install suicide nets at factories.

It must be nice to have a company in a country where labor laws are a suggestion.

Make 800!

The suicide rate at Foxconn is lower than the US suicide rate.

0% drama, 100% serious. I like it.

Thanks boss baby

I just love cake, confetti cake, to be specific. It has little colored candies inside the cake, and then you get the confetti icing, which is really hard to find sometimes. It's really hard to explain to people, because it's not icing with sprinkles on top. It's icing that actually has candies inside of it. It's Funfetti icing.
