I find that statement funny in itself, but I think people aren't paying attention to what follows it:
I may hate men, but I don’t hate them the way they hate us — i.e., in a way that makes me want to torture them and violate their bodies. I don’t think spending all our time amputating penises would really achieve the goal of women’s liberation, anyway.
Apart from the whole "Men hate us, it's some sort of male scheme to hurt women as much as possible for no other reason than the lulz" schtick, I love how she even feels the need to say this. Like, to the average person, the statement "Let's mutilate and torture people" is insane enough not to need justification, but on GC, apparently, it needs arguing.
In fact, half-assed arguing. Is she really saying that if she hated men a bit more she'd actually be okay with this ? Or that, right now, castration is overkill, but hitting them in the face with a bat once or twice, heh, might be fun. Or that, you know, if it actually helped women close the 3% actual wage gap, they'd be okay with mutilating half the population ?
