Our stack is React + Node. I'm really enjoying it so far but we'll see how I feel in a year or two. ES6 is nice. I'd probably kill myself if I had to go back to jquery and PHP.

Node with ES6 is nice. The problem is the idiots that code with Node.

I had to tackle an AWS/Node/MongoDB stack before that was clearly written by someone who skimmed "IoT for Assholes". Blatant security holes. Practically no database design. (Instead of updating an entry, they dropped the whole table and put in a new entry every time the app updated.) Incredibly outdated Swift code.

Somehow I wrangled that into ES8 compliance. Even with new features, the codebase size was nearly halved. Nightmare from start to finish. Never again.
