If you remember when "plebbit profiles" were introduced, people asked about how NSFW profiles (like those of GoneWild posters) would be treated seeing as how they post porn etc. Plebbit admins included an NSFW option in plebbit profiles so that all posts are labeled NSFW and you cannot visit that plebbit profile unless you have NSFW restrictions turned off in your plebbit account preferences.

Well, my main account was hit with that NSFW filter like idk, maybe 6-7 months ago? The thing is that there isn't any porn on my profile. rly gets the noggin joggin 🤔🧐

If you try to turn off that plebbit NSFW switch from your plebbit profile, a plebbit popup appears which states that if your account has any porn/gore/profanity in it and you still decide to turn off that NSFW setting, your account might get suspended.

Just because my comments have meanie words in them, my plebbit profile had to be made NSFW. Now they're outright banning people for posting slurs in comments.

The war against (((profanity))) has just begun!

When do you think they flag profiles as NSFW? Do they wait till you've made a certain amount of comments or is it a running percentage? I'm pretty sure I'm not flagged as NSFW but this alt isn't that old either

I was one of the first people with a profile, at one point my 1000 followers or so meant I was 30th most followed person on Reddit. My profile was not wet to nsfw and I posted some rule 34 of the thinking emoji to it. I didn't get warned or anything but I later noticed that my profile was nsfw. So idk the process but apparently they care lol
