At least they get paid, right?

The article complains that they earn less than the average Facebook employee, when these cheeky buggers should be grateful to receive anything.

Mod them here to make them appreciate the paycheck.

The panic attacks started after Chloe watched a man die.

Returning to her seat, Chloe feels an overpowering urge to sob. Another trainee has gone up to review the next post, but Chloe cannot concentrate. She leaves the room, and begins to cry so hard that she has trouble breathing.

roastie watches some guy die

lmao

Those poor people also earn only 28k per year for keeping us safe.

Don't they know that you can keep yourself safe on your own?

The bit about the moderators threatening the QA people in the parking lot is also a small bundles of lols.

They would confront me in the parking lot and tell me they were going to beat the shit out of me

lel.

I read this when it was published a month ago. We're supposed to feel sorry for people with no discernible skills or qualifications being given a decent salary & benefits to do an office job that they've decided they don't like doing?

All the reddit, facebook & twitter censorship has me thinking that the (American) internet should be an actual free speech zone with no restrictions. None at all. Because when you allow one, they just keep expanding and expanding as people complain that they don't feel safe. The entire internet should just be a free-fire zone of saying whatever you want, death threats, bomb threats, whatever. And if you can't handle it, then the internet just isn't for you. Quit ruining it for the rest of us.

How can people be this soft?

A steady diet of high fructose corn syrup.

Exactly, the soy meme is a diversion

Woke and cornpilled.

Sounds like they don't have a good vetting process at the interviews. I'd be asking things like "have you ever been to rotten.com or liveleak" and so on.

If you can't handle being a PAID internet janitor, I don't see you really succeeding at anything else outside an entry level minimum wage paying job.

Employees have been found having sex inside stairwells and a room reserved for lactating mothers, in what one employee describes as “trauma bonding.”

Or, alternatively, you could call it co-workers banging each other.

MAXIMUN COPE

Another former employee, who told me he has mapped every escape route out of his house and sleeps with a gun at his side, said: “I no longer believe 9/11 was a terrorist attack.”

BASED

i hear the watchpeopledie sub got banned. They should hire the mods from there to do it.

🤣🤣🤣

Collectively, the employees described a workplace that is perpetually teetering on the brink of chaos. It is an environment where workers cope by telling dark jokes about committing suicide, then smoke weed during breaks to numb their emotions. It’s a place where employees can be fired for making just a few errors a week — and where those who remain live in fear of the former colleagues who return seeking vengeance.

It’s a place where, in stark contrast to the perks lavished on Facebook employees, team leaders micromanage content moderators’ every bathroom and prayer break; where employees, desperate for a dopamine rush amid the misery, have been found having sex inside stairwells and a room reserved for lactating mothers;

Oh god the horror, people are burning the devils lettuce and banging coworkers in the tittymilking room when they're supposed to be on their prayer break, how could they
