Let me tell you, the difference in the amount of talent and knowledge the American graduates have compared to Indians is astonishing. This is why companies are willing to pay premium for American engineers even though India is a lot cheaper to outsource to.

I am from India and an engineer and I agree with this tbh. Although I am pretty sure this is from a management school because I have never seen those kinds of tables in engineering school. Oh and our walls and tables were always filled with notes.

That being said, this could be from Bangladesh, Pakistan or Sri Lanka as well because we are all like this. It truly never began for decendent-of-aryancels

The difference is the quality of higher education. India is the kind of country where Astrology gets taught as part of the university syllabus.

Nowhere did I deny the quality is lower. Of course it's not going to be on par with USA or any western nation with amount of money and existing infra and talent that is in those unis but I am not wrong about that guy as well.

And also astrology isn't taught as a part of university syllabus except at maybe some meme unis.

I would say the culture surrounding education is partially to blame as well with focus on rote learning and marks over genuine understanding and also the intense competition doesn't help as well.

Oh well it's reddit, as long as negative stereotypes don't have much consequences on the ground it shouldn't be too much of a worry.
