Taking care of yourself when you're stressed or depressed or treating yourself once in a while is important, but their definitions of 'stress' and 'care' are way too broad and it's clear that they're looking for reasons to blow all their money on dumb shit and avoid responsibilities.
It's legitimate now. It's an impending emergency when you're old. I bet it's fun to be single even into your 50s, but when you are near the end, with no family and no one to tell you they love you when they push your wheelchair, it'll be the thing you regret most in life.
