I don't understand how one Filipino could consider themselves supperior to another. They're literally the Mexicans of Asia but without the added benefit of übermensch castizos.
Before the colonizers came, we were all split into tribes, but all of us co-existed peacefully.
When colonizers came, they decided to generalize on the idea of our national identity. When you look into it, people from different regions are literally different from each other culturally speaking.
This is why some "Filipinos" prefer federalism over the current system. Some colonizer just decided that Manila is the Philippine capital. Fuckin' Imperial Manila is nothing without the rural parts of the country!
To be fair, we're only mestizos, but we're very similar to Brazil without the accolades since we're pretty much like them where everyone of us is mixed like azkals or basically mixed-breed dogs.
