Tbh, there isn't much difference between rural and urban trash stories. The same stories. Alcoholism, drugs, infidelity, and so on. Well, if you count out the guy in every town who is into cows (literally).

Though we have the same kind of drama here, I think people act a little bit more over the top. For example there was this guy in our town who was married to this absolute hambeast of a woman. This guy worked for a septic tank pumping service. His wife cheated on him with another local guy. So, instead of leaving his wife, he drove a tank truck to the wife's lover house and filled the lover's car with human shit and piss. I didn't witness this part, but the next one I did (as a 9 year old). As retaliation the lover stole a big ass forklift from a construction company nearby, picked up his shit filled car with it and dumped it all on the F150 of the husband while screaming "this is how I fucked your wife". Both went to prison.
