Pewdiepiesubmissions almost reaches self-awareness when they discover that their excuses for not getting their shit together is not relevant anymore.

Wahmen and 9 year olds, good evening.

Tonight I invite you to laugh with me at literal children.

Some context if you missed the Youtube Drama like a functioning adult should:

The war for the #1 spot on Youtube seems to finally have reached its conclusion after the disstrack from Pewdiepie.

The subreddit r/pewdiepiesubmissions has turned this whole thing into a war, as they like to call it. Personally, the kind of delusion and effort put by people surprises me, and reminds me of the r/sandersforpresident glory days, with "Subscribe to Pewdiepie" replacing "Match Me!". see 1

The sub basically became a MLM and a sub farm for free, spending resources, time and money to help the guy stay at #1 spot, with people asking relatives and friends and acquaintances to subscribe to PDP.

But now, alas, the war they think they have fought is over. This meme lasted from september to April and people, in their own words, are spent.

I'll continue to root you all on but I'm personally spent. This war is actually stressing me out so I'm taking a few steps back. I'm sure you can get it ahead again. But I have to focus on more important things. Best of luck guys.

but wait! you say there's more? of course there is!

this type of comments are very destructive to the war.

Pepsi sucks because they got a deal with T-Series. T-Series was recently sponsored by pepsi. So tell pepsi we're drinking none of that shit

a voice of reason gets mildly downvoted

The world need to stand together to make a statement. I just wish for once the media stands by us.

The sub has reached level of cope that many believed unreachable by mortal men.

Hahahahaha, you're in college and you still spend your time like this! This internet troll shit is for lonely 14 year olds, not adults.

The rest of your life is going to be lonely and boring if this is what you do with your time during what should be your most exciting years.

Before you know it, college will be over and you'll have no ability to make new friends because you don't have anything interesting to talk about or any way to meet new people. If you're not able to make friends now when it's literally the easiest it will ever be, there's no way you're going to swing it when you're even older.

I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

Yikes let's unpack this

Did they really think they could beat a country with a billion predominantly young folx ?

Even if 1/10 of them subscribe that would mean 100 million.

Plus, I remember YouTube of the olde. There weren't "content creators".

The most popular channels* were hosting music with "All copyright belongs to the creator and not I" etc.

as far as I remember.

Brits conquered India with what, 10,000 Mancunian youths dreaming of tea and brown domestic slaves?

Why are these amebas so adamant on being nameless lachès for a random internet millionaire? Is their need for attention really this strong?

I just need a break from it. I'm not watching the subgap like a hawk like I have been and I've become less involved with the Discord community. I plan to go back but it's just mentally taxing.

Do these people bother second guessing their life choices?

bro what the fuck are you even saying, you're talking about being "mentally taxed" and stressed, you literally just say sub to pewdiepie on the internet

The only person on the sub who isn't retarded gets downvoted.

Also, lol, are these retards so stupid to not notice that maybe spamming "sub to pewdiepie" isn't that great of an idea. Leftists are probably shaking everytime they read those words.

Maybe it's because I'm not a retard zoomer, but how did this pasty fucker get popular again? Dont people like watch him play video games?

We are truly doomed if this is considered quality Gen Z entertainment

I don’t watch almost any of his videos at this point but I don’t dislike the guy. I’m still subbed to him so I can see he puts videos day in day out, with varying results.

The fanbase is what is really strange.

The way he got famous is interesting because he was a nobody that got lucky with YouTube and ran with it.

IIRC basically the YouTube system was divided by nationality of the uploaders in the early 2010s. He got to be on the top of recompensed in the US, Italy, UK, Sweden by exploiting some kind of bug on accident.

by exploiting some kind of bug on accident.

Haha, source for that?

It wasn’t a bug but a change from number of views to time spent watching a video that got him to the top of recommended. The national thing is true also.

https://tubularinsights.com/how-pewdiepie-made-it-to-the-top/

He used to play games, but now he's another commentary channel that also talks about memes (which might explain why the shelf life of modern memes is pure ass).

why do they care

I can't imagine being so empty inside that I devote months of my life to miserable fake internet points, and I'm cripplingly depressed

god, go outside

They're kids. The internet is most likely their entire life. After years hunched in dark rooms cackling at shitty swedish YouTube clown they probably have a complexion similar to that of milk that's just gone off. If they went outside their pasty skin would likely begin to sizzle at the mere suggestion of sunlight.

Plus going outside requires exercise and no one wants chub rub on their thunder thighs.

Imagine being emotionally involved to a youtubers career

Daily reminder, subscribed to T-series.

It means more than a meme to me. This is not just for Pewds but for YouTube as a whole. I don't want it to completely fall corporations. I want the You in YouTube to still mean something. You're right though. I shouldnt be stressed over this. Which is why I'm taking a break from it.

There is literally no possible way that Pewdiepie himself gives this much of a fuck about "the war"

"its not that simple anymore. People say "fuck you" when i tell them to subscribe to pewdiepie, so i dont."

Imagine the only facet of your personality is some random swede that makes shit tier videos.
