I don't understand how this relates to the post at all. Younger people are aware of face scanning already. They aren't at all clueless about the technology. The post is people being upset about face scans being used for verification without them being told or given the option to consent to it.
Guess how AQI insurgents who had taken the escalator to heaven were checked for identification? A suicide vest typically explodes outward. This leaves a mostly intact head. If the deceased insurgent had been previously detained by coalition forces, their eyeballs would already be in a database of eyeballs. Any eyes still attached to the intact head would be scanned for identification. This method of identification was successful over ten years ago.
What is the point you're trying to make? Technology starts and stops where a person or group of people decide. The computer at the door didn't implement this system. They're upset about the people that implemented this system in a way where they were not told and not given a chance to give consent to it.
