I couldn’t stand SRD. The cringe there was suffocating. One idiot was whining about /r/drama being a doxxing paradise, others were circlejerking about how the sub leans slightly right but is really moderate. And as you note OP, they all fuckin whine about Daddy, altright, and idiots who can’t get laid.
This might come as a shock to you, but I do not care about your opinions, your ignorance or failure to comprehend the research, or what you believe. The only thing I care about, and I can not stress this enough, is what the empirical research says. And it says you are wrong.
Your personal opinion? worth as much as a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk to me. That is the absolute extent to which I care about what you think. This is where I stopped reading. I do not entertain the economic illiteracy of far leftists or far right-wing tards.
Both are equally misinformed on average, both are failures.
Nah. Some reviewers peeled off a protective layer they thought is just a regular plastic screen protector but wasn't, however at least 1 broke on its own and in 1 case, some dirt particle actually got in-between the display and the plastic layer on top, probably thought the hinge.
What fucking moron tries to change anything on a $2,000 review unit that you're only supposed to test? Oh it looks like a screen protector, I better rip it off instead of just asking Samsung why it's there. Even if it had just been a screen protector would they be fine with you just taking it off of a phone you're only borrowing?
Yikes sweaty, let's unfold this (hehe yes pun intented please don't /r/PunPatrol me xD 😃)

Basically every reviewer I've seen peels off screen protectors, no matter what the phone costs, because frankly they feel like shit, glass is much smoother and makes the phone nicer to use. I'd say it's especially important to peel off here, since this phone can't have glass but plastic so you want to test how well it feels to touch, and has a crease from the unfolding, and again, you want to know how prominent it is (and screen protector may "smooth" it out).
Samsung didn't provide any guidance for review units to not peel it off, it's on them. I know that the likes of OnePlus or Samsung said their in-display fingerprint readers work better with their branded screen protectors so some reviewers left them on. It's that simple, Samsung just had to tell them.

They often keep the phone. Even if they don't keep it and send it back, it's not like Samsung resells them. It's $2000, sure, but for example the moron over at Unbox Therapy already got like 20 mil. views on Galaxy Fold content so it's literally the cheapest advertising you can get. So neither Samsung nor the big reviewers care too much about the state of the phone after they return it, IF they even return it.
not necesarily $2k but anything i'd consider a "cheaper" laptop (maybe less than $1k new?) is probably going to be poorly made plastic trash with garbage specs
You could build a monster PC with that money and still have money left for a quite decent android smartphone. The people who buy these kind of products are retarded hipsters.

Manlets are not the target demographic for these devices.

Why would you pay almost $2000 for a phone? If I paid that much, it better do my fucking taxes for me.
1 HodorTheDoorHolder_ 2019-04-23
My laptop costs about $2000 and it’s basically a Netflix machine most of the time
1 MikeStoklasaAlcohol 2019-04-23
Yeah, but a laptop can do more than a phone.
1 heavenlytoaster 2019-04-23
Like... Your taxes.

No. My uncle does that for me.

Stop making me feel old dammit. There is literally nothing wrong with current smartphone designs. I just want it to fit in my pocket and be durable.
