Honestly though pol often moves way faster than Reddit and even Twitter whenever there’s a big happening, it’s just inherent to chan (and regular) boards where discussions happen in real time and there’s no waiting for something to appear on a sub’s front page for it to take off.
Conversely is the reason why FB is such a disaster for news.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s a good place to get news, just saying it moves very fast. pol has very specific leanings and you have to learn how to navigate that shithole, and be able to decide what’s ironic and what isn’t.
