What I find hilarious is that his statement isnt even accurate. The avg middle class person could reasonably hope that their kids or grand kids could one day become, if not a ceo, some sort of highly compensated employee. They'd never be disney's grandkids though.
So even from the "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" framework these people are backing the wrong horse. Getting paid 100s of thousands is how middle class people climb the ladder. Disney made 12billion in profits last year and the heiress is saying the CEOs salary is why they cant pay the employees more.
Not to mention the temporarily embarrassed millionaire quote was originally about the champagne socialists.
