This is basically the only community autistic enough to understand what I'm talking about and I'm banned from KIA so I can't actually say it on here, but here is the video I'm talking about, "Persona 5 Royale Bends The Knee to the SJW Outrage Mob". So this is a clickbait title. Even if the devs literally got on one knee and bowed to Anita Sarkeesian this would be a clickbait title. I actually watched this shit because I wanted to see what would happen, and I muted the video because I didn't want to hear whatever he was going to talk about. Most of the video isn't even about what he's talking about, he shows a bunch of tweets from twitter randoms complaining that the new character introduced in this game is wearing a leotard. Then when he introduces the "bending the knee part", it's not about the leotard at all, it's one forum post from a guy saying that he thinks some changes have been made to a completely different part of the game. So first off, it might not even be true, and second most of the video is a huge waste of my time. In fact, the entire fucking video is a waste of my time, and so are most of these types of videos. The entire thing could be conveyed in a screenshot.

Game journalism is not bad per se. Is bad when is put in the same space as normal journalism.
Is like film journalism. It takes knowledge of the subject and a very objective view of both the product and the production.
Most people who are "game journalists" don't know the basic concept of creating a game or the infrastructure needed to create a game. This is why they fail. They try to cram game news in less than 10 minutes or with articles with less than a 1000 words.
... If you don't believe me check IGN and GameSpot. Or just Kotaku, but that goes without saying.
