Shame on your toxic ways reddit. No, Netflix didn’t pay me and no I never got paid to post on reddit or rather accepted to post sponsored posts. Say what you will, we’re all on here together being bored and killing time.

I agree. My point isnt that women have the right to harm their fetuses, just that the woman's well-being should be factored into decision making. The potential benefits to the mother should always be weighed against the risk of harm to the fetus.
I’m pro-choice on this but only for white women so all their developmentally challenged offspring that they end up having will drive them deep into a cycle of poverty for the rest of time.

Shitpostradamus appeared to believe abstaining from drinking for nine months was an appropriate test for parental abilities. If we're imposing an unnecessary complete ban on alcohol for women, in order to test them, shouldn't we also test the father?
u/sillygoooses is it really that hard to get to the point of his statement? It is not an unnecessary ban on women when the study says no amount is safe.
I just posted a number of other studies that you might be interested in. However, I'll go ahead and post them again just for you.

The age on the citations range from 1989 to 2012. So what you’re saying is a book by an economist written in 2013 is more accurate than research conducted by neuroscientist in 2019?
A study is not weak because you do not like the results. But anyways let's take a look at the newest study you pointed to.

Anne-Marie Andersen et al. “Moderate Alcohol Intake during Pregnancy and Risk of Fetal Death.” International Journal of Epidemiology. 2012: 1-9.
CONCLUSIONS:
Even low amounts of alcohol consumption during early pregnancy increased the risk of spontaneous abortion substantially. The results indicate that the fetus is particularly susceptible to alcohol exposure early in pregnancy.

Sure, there are other studies that say low amounts of alcohol is ok. But if there are valid studies that say it is, and it isn't ok, to drink low amounts of alcohol while pregnant, why risk it? Is one glass of wine a night worth potential lifelong harm to your child?
What the fuck happened to r/Drama. This is like the third post I've seen in the past few days where ppl are straight up downvoting lolcows. You're scaring them off retards
There's a few people that unironically piss me off: shoplifters and their apologists, retards who try to make their cat vegan and scumbags who are too weak willed to avoid pickling their own children.
You’re out of your element. There was an r/science thread from earlier about an fMRI study that showed FASD brain patterns unique to children of mothers who reported drinking anything at all, compared to mothers who reported no drinking. Not full on FAS (wide spaced eyes, low IQ, etc) but more like brain patterns associated with borderline personality disorder and such.
Every day we deal with people who can’t quite get their shit together enough to get off drugs and/or at least not be an *cel, much of which has to do what womb you came out of. Asking mothers to be a bit responsible with who they’re unleashing on the world is a lot closer to the center than forced sterilization and such.
My wife had a glass of wine like 5 times and the resulting toddler can count to fifty at 20 my months. This shit is just a bunch neets blaming mommy for drinking too much and using it to explain their social isolation.
The top controversial comment is some guy just saying he doesnt get why women drink while pregnant. Someone shut this sub down before any more (non-mayo) babies get hurt.

People make a good point when arguing with climate change skeptics when they say, "What the harm in living responsibly?"
Does that not apply here?

Applies even better when all that "living responsibly" asks of you in this case is to temporarily abstain from a single luxury.

1 latent_vector 2019-04-27
The new definition for C O P E should be this: Finding 15 research articles to justify giving fetal alcohol syndrome to your child.
Also, much of your research is old (literally from the 80's) and doesn't approach the sample sizes of current works. Zzzzzzzzzzzz
1 Coonass_alt 2019-04-27
imagine doing all this just to cope with the fact that you made your child retarded because you couldn't put a wine glass down for less than a year
1 latent_vector 2019-04-27
Imagine the peak of feminism being the right to give your child fetal alcohol syndrome.
1 SideFumbling 2019-04-27
