Imagine a game made entirely for 10-15 year olds and you, a 20 year old autist, think theyre actually going to put any effort into changing the game in any way post launch that doesnt just sell copies for the next one. Gaymers are the worst. Besides, Blizzard-Activision literally has fuck you money. Between WOW, and Destiny, and CoD, and Candy Crush they literally have the biggest money cow in every genre of gaming. Ever wonder why blizzard seemingly pours money into the abyss that is SC2 and ignores Diablo? Because SC2 and pro Esports is the only place they don’t dominate. Thats why they tried heroes of the storm. Youll notice that they also tried Overwatch, which worked but they couldnt keep the momentum up. They literally have no reason to support Ghosts. It isnt a continued money maker like WoW and Destiny and Candy Crush, it jsnt a possible Esport like SC and Overwatch, there’s basically no reason not to just start work on the next one the day ghosts debuts.
Most gamers I know won't play without progression. Gaming isn't just fun for a ton of people. Its a goal to hit or an obstacles to beat. Without that, gameplay could be the most fun ever created, there is no point to playing.
