I don't think it's that high. I think reddit, being basically the bottom run of advertising, charges something like 5 dollars for a million page impressions or something retarded like that.
I've seriously thought about buying ads on this subreddit just to bully Ed.
meninists, alt right, and gamergaters make up the bulk of the user base. I have my leanings that are definitely not left wing, but that place was cancer last time I checked.
Started out as a good idea. Ended up that the only people leaving Reddit en mass were all the degenerates from banned subs. So just imagine every user of banned subs, fatpeoplehate, stormfront, Coontown hanging out.
Let me tell you this-- Voat is one of the most malevolent, cruel, coldhearted online communities you'll ever find, even worse than 4chan. Even as a supporter of free speech, it appals me that such a vile hub of bigotry even exists on the internet. A quick view at their /v/all queue will reveal itself to you as the internet's number one hub for the most hardened Nazis, Klansmen, Fascists, and Sizests. I fear that Voat may be producing an entire army of Dylann Roofs and Elliot Rogers, and I highly suggest that nobody dares visit that horrible website, less you kind people may fall to its corruptive aura.
Goddamn that's a horrible business model for a reddit clone. At least on YouTube they generally stop people from monetizing content from others, you can't go full /u/gallowboob.

If only voat had half of reddits userbase. Imagine how much MasterLawlz will be making with his stickies.

or a tiny fraction of reddit's advertising revenue (so that there would be any real number of it to share between shitposters)

Maybe a dime?

He'd definitely move if Voat had more advertisers and a larger userbase.

Ads pay you why? 20 cents per click? So yeah dude, you’d get some .2 cents.
1 Logan_Pauler 2019-05-03
More than what I'm making now.

For real? I’ll take them and plug them into my apartments common areas. Then don’t even have to to pay for electricity.

If its anything like Birds you have to "release" them to a "nest" (aka busy area) before 7:00 am or else you don't make nearly as much.

You can already do this with BAT, people report making $5-10 worth of BAT a month using the brave browser.

Too bad you'll end up owing money on your content.

I hope they enjoy doling out the six pence they get per month from companies who want to advertise over boomer rageposts and fascist propaganda

The idea of voat is good, the user base is vile scum though.
1 Logan_Pauler 2019-05-03
Lmao, some butthurt voatfags downvoted you. Show yourself, you cowards.
1 Kat_B0T 2019-05-03
Lmao it’s over for voatcels
1 The-Gaming-Alien 2019-05-03
What's so bad about the user base? Never really bothered with it myself

There's no gamers on voat. Games are a scam jews made to entrap goys and prevent resistance from forming. Gaming is literally cuck porn.

Who the fuck is spending money at Voat for ads? Obviously they are banned from AdSense, so that's not happening.
1 The-Gaming-Alien 2019-05-03
There's always a line of cash grab asian mobile games that buy ads on anything and everything.
1 pugba 2019-05-03
Why're they banned from Adsense?
1 chadwarden1337 2019-05-03
Because it's a cesspool filled with garbage. I can't even get AdSense approved on my SFW furry LARP blog. Google has very strict policy guidelines.
