This is about establishing the precedent that parental rights over your own child don't exist. You might have noticed recent court cases where parents rights were removed for combating their child's new demand to cut their dick off.

As to the forced transition, I have heard of Canada's Bill 89, but i have never heard of a family forced to transition their child due to the provisions. It is probably a bill that is misconstrued by the far right groups into believing the government is forcing people to transition.
