There is no such thing as good or evil, only perceived self-interest.

If you want to understand human nature, you must develop an amoralistic lens.

One prominent example we can see this is in the political career of Adolf Hitler. Hitler saw how communism had spread through Eastern Europe and Central Asia, how it had destroyed their culture, and had ultimately left the masses in poverty in ruin and starvation and death. He saw a consistent trend of a common special interest group that caused the dispersion of communism, and identified them as the Jews. Hitler did everything he could to prevent communism from spreading its mass decay in Germany. Thus, as he rose to power of Chancellor, and eventually, to Fuhrer, he enacted various laws to subvert communism's greatest propagators from spreading it to his homeland. Hitler had to resort to an extreme but decisive response to this. He first tried to deport the Jews with the Haavara Agreement, but they still wouldn't leave or cooperate. He did the only thing to appropriately react to negligence and insubordination - he had to setup concentration camps and disenfranchise the Jews. Now, was this immoral as we constantly hear of? Perhaps it was extreme, but Hitler was acting upon the perceived self-interest of himself, Germany, and greater Europe.

For similar reasons, this is why your local mechanic charges customers for repairs that your cars don't need and don't even occur. This is why Tony Soprano had to kill his close nephew, Christopher Moltisanti, because it was in his best self-interest. If he didn't neutralize Christopher, there was a strong chance Christopher would be tried and prosecuted for drug charges, and his only way to freedom would be revealing critical information on Tony Soprano's business operations.

This is why women will, without remorse or shame, divorce rape their husband and father of children -- and prevent lifelong access from the father to his children -- while still extracting resources from the man. Finally, this is why men have evolved to slaughter and cuck other men, and complimenting this, this is why women have evolved to fall in love with the conquering dictator who just killed her husband.

It's all self-interest at the end of the day, and concern trolling 'morality' is just smoke and mirrors. If you want to understand and internalize the true essence of human nature, you must develop an amoralistic, naturalistic, and rationalist perspective to truly comprehend it.

Final Edit: apparently calling out sexism here really makes people angry! Final edit to apologize for shitty formatting. I’m on mobile, and also I’m not interested in writing an essay. Have a great night everybody.

But it is sexism...the reason they formulated a cream/lotion is because men couldn’t handle the side affects that many women deal with while on the pill, using IUD’s, etc. they decided to find something different because it was men experiencing those side effects. Years ago, when it was women in those trials, the side effects were deemed manageable. I don’t know how textbook sexist you need it to be, but that adds up to sexism in reality.

ETA: I am not saying “men are weak” and I am not saying that the side effects men experienced were not severe. The point is that the side effects are comparable. The female birth control pill can lead to infertility, mood swings, excessive vaginal bleeding which can lead to anemia, suicidal thoughts/tendencies. These are similar to the results from the original study. I was incorrect about why the study was called off. It was due to the issues regarding progestin in the male body. However, that does not change the fact that men are given an alternative that has never been available to women.

EDIT 2: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/male-birth-control-study/ Snopes has interesting quotes. My original statement was not completely accurate, and I recognize that. However, a press release does state that adverse events regarding side affects prevented the completion of the study. My exact words were incorrect, but the sentiment is there. This is sexist because it is another situation where men’s pain/struggle is handled with more care than a woman’s. Women are more often misdiagnosed (https://healthjournalism.org/blog/2018/11/women-more-often-misdiagnosed-because-of-gaps-in-trust-and-knowledge/) due to a lack of knowledge about how women’s bodies react to are affected by diseases or maladies. That is because science has focused on who? Men. That is who. Science is based primarily on the knowledge of the female body. Why? Well, because that’s who matters! I once again admit I wasn’t correct in the original statement, however I find this still sexist.
