Vice lied and pretended that they could get millenials to love cable again. There was in general this huge push for video journalism among many companies over the past few years that was an unmitigated disaster. Literally all their videos ever got were a few seconds of play time before the viewer paused and muted the annoying autoplaying shit. And they acted like this was some awesome success.
